I primarily work in low-fire clay fired in oxidation. I am inspired by found objects. As an avid gardener, I like to incorporate plants as well as vases and candles into my pieces. What a beautiful thing to be able to interact with a piece of art that already visually brings you joy.

When I have the opportunity I fire some of my work in a fabulous soda kiln. It takes my animal-inspired sculptures and creates drippy, lovely gas fired goodness. Most of the work out of this kiln is functional.
